Vincent's Resale Shop Gulfgate

The Society of St. Vincent de Paul Galveston-Houston (SVDP) is a grassroots, volunteer-based, direct-aid non-profit organization helping people in need get back on their feet since 1871. SVDP provides numerous services including, but not limited to, short-term financial, material and emotional support.

One of our main financial resources comes from the donations at and purchases made through our Resale Shops. We encourage family and friends to donate their gently used clothing, furniture, appliances and household items. All items sold in our Resale Shops fund our programs to help those in need to reach a quality life and give them hope.
Feel good about the treasures you find at our store. For every dollar spent in our shops, 95 cents goes directly to the programs at SVDP. Our resale shops rely on generous clothing, furniture and household item donations from supporters like you. Giving is easy and can make a world of difference for an individual or family in need of low or no cost merchandise.
