Due to the continuing aftermath resulting from the recent flooding across Houston and the southeastern Texas region, tomorrow’s Don’t Wine Just Drink It (DWJDI) scheduled for Saturday, September 21, 2019 at the Houston Museum for African American culture has been postponed until Saturday, November 2, 2019 at 8pm. The venue itself has suspended operations through the weekend. Our primary concern is your safety and well-being. Many of our fellow neighbors and supporters are experiencing hardships, and we respectfully believe it to be wise to allow our supporters, family, and friends to tend to the pertinent matters at hand. Consequently, if anyone needs assistance please feel free to message us with your concern or request. None one should be left alone, or feel alone, at a time such as this. We’re here for you! To reiterate the the NEW date and time, DWJDI has reschedule this event for Saturday, November 2, 2019 at 8pm. Thanks so much for your understanding and flexibility.

You asked for it Houston, and we are bringing it back to you! Welcome to the Fall 2019 installment of Don’t Wine Just Drink It! For those that aren’t familiar, here is how you gain admission to this event: You bring a bottle of the SPECIFIC varietal, vineyard, region, etc. that is selected by the hosts. (That’s it! Super simple, right?)

This season’s event will feature the following varietal for entry:
ROSE and BORDEAUX

So, to gain entry, you MUST bring 1 BOTTLE OF EITHER: ROSE or BORDEAUX

ROSE (ALSO KNOWN AS Grenache Rosé, Sangiovese Rosé, Tempranillo Rosé, and Syrah Rosé)

BORDEAUX (ALSO KNOWN AS Chateau Leoville Poyferre, Chateau Grand-Puy-Lacoste, Chateau d'Issan Margaux, Chateau Lascombes, and Chateau Giscours)
