Join us for the BUFTX 38th Annual Media Legacy Luncheon! Join us for an inspiring afternoon filled with networking, fundraising, delicious food, and engaging discussions. This in-person event is a fantastic opportunity to connect with fellow media professionals, share insights, and build valuable relationships. The Black United Fund of Texas hosts this luncheon to raise funds for current goals and as a thank you to our media partners and sponsors. Our goal for this event is to raise $75,000 that will go towards acquiring land that Black United Fund will be able to designate for environmental injustice efforts. The event will feature special honorees, lunch and an informative panel. This event will also be an excellent opportunity to learn more about our initiatives and explore ways to collaborate. Our honorees are valuable people who are the reason why we can trust that information of the good works organizations are doing in our community will be shared.
The theme for the event is "The Role of Media in Environmental Awareness".
We'll recognize some trailblazers in this space and focus on BUFTX's current works to address illegal dumping, solar energy education, and broader environmental issues.
