Description
Weights and Measures is a casual neighborhood restaurant, bakeshop and bar located in a 1950s industrial warehouse. The project is the result of a long-standing partnership among four like-minded Houstonians: a developer, a bartender, a chef and a baker. The ultimate goal is to create a comfortable, sincere and welcoming place for Houstonians to dine, relax, socialize and share great experiences.
The bakery team, headed by Pastry Chef Rene Bolanos, begins their work daily at 3am. Our breads and pastries can be enjoyed every day in our bakeshop as well as in restaurants and coffee shops across Houston. Come join us every day beginning at 7am for our delicious provisions, full-service coffee bar featuring locally-roasted Amaya coffee, and fresh juices.
For brunch, lunch, and dinner, Chefs Richard Kaplan and Fernando Rios have crafted a seasonal, quintessentially American menu (not committed to any one cuisine culture) featuring wood-fired meats and vegetables, bread-centric plates to share, and wood-fired pizza from a wood-burning oven, including our famous Roasted Carrot Pizza.
Bar Manager Shan Liu stands ready at the bar offering a full array of draft and bottled craft beers, spirits and cocktails, and an affordable international wine list obsessed with quality production.
Our front of house team headed by Angela Moore and Nathan Gonzales is ready to make your next event or celebration, no matter how large or small, an unforgettable affair.
