The Dirt is the bar for people interested in something askew from the homogeneous bar scene. If you want to hear music that you won't hear on the radio or at other bars, then The Dirt is for you! Where other bars fill their playlists with "top forty," hip-hop, dance and pop, ours deviates, creating an unique soundtrack for Houston nightlife. It is intermixed with rockabilly, punk, garage, indie, emo, & metal. Expect to hear something that you've never heard before. We even take suggestions. Does your favorite local band have a press kit / CD? Bring us a copy and we might play something from it.
